Give Thanks to the Host with the Most!

This Thanksgiving, we’re celebrating hosts of all kinds—the ones who gather family and friends around the table and the ones who keep your website running smoothly! To show our thanks, we’ve prepared a little “Host Appreciation” menu, served up with a side of fun:

Need a quick festive touch?

Spruce up your table settings with unique place cards. On a strip of paper, write or print their name or the words “thankful”, “grateful”, “gather” then wrap a small loaf of bread along with rosemary and center on each plate.
Create a nature inspired centerpiece with simple pillar candles, pumpkins of various sizes, add fresh or fake garland, and textured wood pieces or antlers.
For an inexpensive cozy and natural table setting use apples, pumpkins, gourds and leaves from the great outdoors.
Welcome guests with a wreath made from pinecones with twigs and leaves enhance it with a quick dry-brushing paint technique.

Fun Thanksgiving activities for the kids

Create a rustic tic-tac-toe game with a round wood slab and four leather strips secured with bronze tacks then gather two five-piece groupings of found objects such as small rocks and pine cones to use as game pieces.
Using a paper plate and color paper, let the kids craft a spin-the-pie game to unveil six slices of life (Family, Friends, Travel, Home, Pets, Work), each of which is intended to conjure a memory for which they’re grateful or sponge paint the plate to create a turkey.
Send the kids outside to forage for the brightest leaves and use them to create leaf foxes or other animals with color paper cut for ears, white paper for their eyes and a colorful pom pom for the nose.
